I am a research scientist at Capstone Therapeutics.  I am working on the development of a new class of peptide therapeutics for reducing fibrosis.   My projects include investigations into the mechanism of action, development of an optimized peptide, and studies on platelet interactions. 

I received my Ph.D. degree from Arizona State University from the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering.
My advisors for my dissertation project are Dr. Alyssa Panitch of the Weldon School of Bioengineering at Purdue University and Dr. Mark Preul of the Barrow Neurological Institute.

My research project was the development of biocompatible materials for spinal cord regeneration.  My interests include the study of biological diseases and medical device design.
